Description

We are looking for a reliable self-starter salesperson to join our team and deliver great customer sales and service experiences.

Your objective will be to help customers select products and services in a retail environment.

Our team goal is to drive TTE.CA sales, improve customer satisfaction, maximize customer retention, and have a positive impact in the community.


Main responsibilities include:

  • Test equipment and sign in equipment via QuickBooks brought in for service by customers.
  • Properly diagnose servicerelated problems and communicate the information to the customer.
  • Direct customers to products and suggest items.
  • Advise customers by providing information on products.
  • Find driver and update information on the Internet if needed.
  • Order product from either the manufacturer or through the retail sales staff, using the proper paperwork required.
  • Answer the service phone and know how much time to spend on phone support and the amount of free support to provide.
  • Keep their own service area and the general service area tidy and professional looking. This includes the checkin area.
  • Convert estimates to an invoice in QuickBooks including all the proper item goods.
  • Work with the sales staff on hardware or software addins or upgrade to computers in for service.
  • Follow up with customers on any unfinished or returned service.
  • Technicians may, from time to time, be asked to perform RMA testing and repair on inhouse inventory. This is non billable work but still must be tracked. Warranty parts for service must also be tracked by service technicians.
  • For those technicians doing outbound service, a car is required and a mileage report for each service call is required.
  • Following company's procedures and protocols.
  • Keeping track of inventory.

Preferred skills & abilities:

  • Knowledge of computer software and hardware, A+ Certification an asset but not required
  • Drivers license an asset but not required
  • Strong communication, sales and teamwork skills
  • Critical thinking

Part-time hours: 20 per week
