We are seeking an
IT Infrastructure Administrator, a creative problem solver.

Working in a complex computing environment you will work as part of a team that provides operational support for systems, services, and information technologies in a highly diverse infrastructure environment.

As a team player, you will work closely alongside the IT Operations Manager and the IT team in the evaluation, deployment, and maintenance of our core technologies

Your responsibilities

How will you contribute to the team effort?

Actively implement, maintain, troubleshoot and document complex virtualized, SaaS and PaaS environments
Perform analysis, continual improvement and capacity planning of corporate technologies
Review environments and execute initiatives to reduce failures, defects and improving overall performance
Stay abreast of current technologies and make recommendations based on knowledge and research
Monitor help desk database for entries on infrastructure resource issues ; prioritize and respond to help desk tickets as appropriate.
Plan and implement upgrades, maintenance fixes, and vendorsupplied patches.
Monitor and test system performance and provide performance statistics and reports
Configure IT platforms to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes.

We are looking for someone who has:

Proven experience and success with virtualized infrastructure (VMWare), SaaS and PaaS technologies (Azure, AWS, Intune, Jamf, Okta)
Strong, handson technical knowledge of network, server and PC operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS)
At least five years' equivalent work experience in a senior technical analytical position responsible for managing IT environments.
Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining all manners of IT hardware
Experience with IT environment performance tuning and monitoring tools.
Familiarity with TCP/IP and UDP network protocols, and operating system configuration.
High level of analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
College or University degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
Located in Montreal, QC or Ottawa, ON
Be available to work an oncall rotational schedule as required (on average once every six weeks)
Able to make trips to our datacenter in St-Laurent or to our office space in Westmount once a fiscal quarter
