We are a Trading company in Vancouver seeking a suitable person to join us.

Position:
Assistant Logistics Co-ordinator

Location:
Vancouver, BC (Close to Arthur Laing Bridge)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Track, manage for import shipment as well as distribution freight logistics
Monitor shipment schedules and coordinate with different mills to ensure shipments and arrival
Monitor freight moving and update the status of shipments
Communicate dispatch information and help answer customer inquiries
Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
12 years Logistics/Supply Chain industries experience is MUST
High school or equivalent
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English
Ability to prioritize, multitask, operate proactively, work as a team and handle challenges.
Excellent common sense, negotiating and problemsolving skills, decisionmaking abilities, interpersonal and analytical skills.
