Maritime Natural is a local distribution company with a focus on supporting local brand partners to expand their products across Atlantic Canada as well as supporting local retailers with access to amazing local products.

We operate out of our distribution facility in Dartmouth coordinating deliveries throughout Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI, and Newfoundland.

Role:

This is a diverse position including delivery driving throughout Atlantic Canada.

The
delivery position is responsible for driving our vans for the purpose of delivering and unloading various products for our customers.

This requires using excellent customer service skills, physical capabilities, sitting for long periods, lifting with proper Health and Safety measures.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deliver product within assigned route schedule and time windows provided. Maintain communication with the management team with any deviations or challenges.
• Unload product from vehicles by hand or with carts and place them in the designated customer storage areas. May include transporting product down ramps, stairs, or docks in all weather conditions
• Frequently lift, push, or move products that weigh up to 100lbs. Frequently reach up to 72 inches to stack and unstack pallets. Frequently lift, bend and twist while loading and unloading products
• Complete driving records/logs as required and maintain sanitary conditions in vehicles
• Attend required meetings and training
• Ensure accurate, timely and efficient selection of all Customer orders outlined by team
• Order picking and put away product
• Maintaining FIFO practices when filling orders
• Scanning and validating box count, scanning return product back into stock and, scanning out inventory
• Load/ Unload Vehicles

Qualifications:

• Demonstrates ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities, identify, and address issues and meet delivery deadlines
• Must have excellent communication and organization skills attention to detail is very important
• Be able to reach, bend and frequently lift up to 50 lbs and push move products up to 100 lbs
• Must be able to communicate clearly with clients, other managers, all personnel, and customers.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
• Valid Class 5 (or other) Drivers License with a "clean" driving record
• Class 5 driver's licence,
• Relatively Clean Drivers Abstract
• Early Morning Start Times
• Ability to lift up to 50lb Independently
