IAA, Inc. is searching for a Assistant Branch Manager to join the team at our facility in Acheson, AB.

Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate and administer activities for the branch and monitor branch performance
  • Oversees key performance indicators within the office and yard
  • Work with Office and Yard Managers to develop, lead and drive the team to achieve projected goals
  • Monitor employees' work and coach employees on performance
  • Assist in the annual performance appraisal process of branch employees
  • Responsibility for the delivery of best practices and meeting client service level agreements
  • Resolve branchlevel employee issues up to and including written warnings
  • Maintain branch personnel records
  • Must be able to perform all auction, office, and yard functions
  • Responsible for the safety and security of personnel and company/customer assets.
  • May be required to travel to other branches to assist in CAT related events, as needed
  • Update the Branch Manager regarding the general daytoday status of activities at the branch

Education and Experience Requirements:


  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required
  • A minimum of 13 years' experience in a Supervisory role
  • Excellent customer service skills along with professional business practices
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills with the ability to effectively juggle demands and meet deadlines
  • A strong team player who possesses the proven ability to lead by example
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate passenger vehicles
  • Experience or knowledge of one or more of the following industries is preferred: Insurance, Automotive, or Equipment sales
