POSITION
We are seeking a qualified Quality Control Inspector, duties will include:

• Oversee and inspect gears, castings and machined components
• Performs visual & dimensional inspections, hardness tests and physical counts of incoming and finished materials & components
• Conduct receiving, inprocess & general final Quality Control inspections
• Execute visual and dimensional inspections on inprocess components when required
• Compare data and findings to drawings and work order specifications
• Report any discrepancies regarding quality inspections
• Initiate and follow up on nonconformance reports
• Completes quality control documents and files them accordingly
• Maintains quality control inspection information in uniPoint or other QA software integrated with ERP system
• Follows appropriate company procedures in regards to the releasing of finished goods
• Maintains and organizes the inspection area in an orderly fashion
• Performs other duties required to insure the success of projects, individuals and the company

QUALIFICATIONS

• QC training or relevant QC experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of quality control principles, with an emphasis on quality at the source
• Experience with Gleason Gear Checker
• Comprehensive knowledge of ISO systems
• Experience with Visual Manufacturing ERP software a benefit
• Experience with Kanban systems a benefit
• Proficient with precision measuring devices
• NDT experience a strong benefit
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Effective in preparing the required quality reports
• Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment
• Written and oral communication skills
• Computer and technical skills

SCHEDULEFULL TIME POSITION, Monday - Friday, 6:30AM-2:30PM


SALARY
$40-55 PER HOUR


Salary:
$40.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
