Description

Purpose:

The E-Commerce Manager is responsible for overseeing and enhancing OMS's e-commerce platforms, ensuring the performance of the websites and online sales.

They will lead and mentor the e-commerce coordinator, and work collaboratively with supporting departments (IT, Inventory, customer service, sales, etc.) and vendors to drive ongoing improvement and development across all platforms (mobile, digital and App).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive B2C sales through the platform
  • Create and implement new digital marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborating with various departments in large scale projects, ongoing development and improvement to the ecommerce platforms.
  • Identifying problems and effective solutions to optimize the ecommerce platforms and sales.
  • Ensure the B2B and B2C platforms are performing optimally.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify online solutions, recommendations, and website enhancements.
  • Develop our online catalogue and proactively identify issues including images, descriptions, pricing and shipping policies and resolve them.
  • Work with existing and new vendors, manage digital marketing relationships.
  • Analytics tracking and reporting, using the analytics to draw insights to improve product positioning.
  • Monitor and manage the inventory online and at designated warehouses.
  • Supervise and mentor the ecommerce coordinator.
  • Implement SEO strategies to improve ecommerce business.

Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • 5 years E-Commerce experience
  • 5 years Digital marketing experience
  • 3 years people management experience
  • 5 years project management experience

  • Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Social Media, SEO
  • Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Project Management skills
  • Passion for driving sales through digital channels
  • Organized
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience with Magento is an asset
  • Experience or knowledge of medical/surgical products or experience in health care is an asset
