PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Warehouse Associate plays an important role in supporting our order fulfillment process through management of our warehouse inventory, and procedures.
SCOPE
The Warehouse Associate reports to the Office Manager, with a primaryfocus on providing excellent experiences for both our internal, and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurately pick and package ordersprepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (pick, pack, wrap, label, load, ship)
- Arrange shipping/transportation requirements
- Receive, check off and put away inventory in a timely an effective manner
- Inspecting shipments/inventory for damage and faults
- General house cleaning and organization of warehouse and work area
- Perform inventory controls that includes daily cycle inventory counts and reporting any discrepancy
- Maintain activity records and reports
- Facilitating the right tubing inventory, including cutting and deburring
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment
- Safe operation of the forklift, inside and outside the building.
- Effectively follow quality processes and comply with procedures, rules, and work instructions
- Basic Hose Assembly, Tagging and Pressure Gauge Liquid Filling
- Provide support for customer service, as necessary
- Effectively fFollow and implement quality processes and work instructions
- Answering phones and responding to customer requests
- Assisting customers, when necessary, at our sales counter
- Follow our quote workflow process
- Ensure customer service satisfaction by nurturing relationships
- Respond with urgency to sales inquiries and concerns
- Collaboration with all departments as required
- Continually educate yourself in a selfstudy program
Position Requirements:
- 3 or more years of warehouse experience is preferred.
- Grade 12 Diploma.
- Proficiency with MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint,MS Planner, Outlook).
- Experience with SAP would be beneficial
