Purpose of Job:
Contributes to the overall success of Operational Risk globally ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Manages Operations Risk systems functionality, enabling users to perform system activities effectively and efficiently
Examples of activities include:
- Manage requirements, interpreting business needs into user stories/ requirements aligned with the Operational Risk Management Framework and methodology;
- Plan, develop, organize, deliver and monitor user awareness, communication, training and knowledge transfer to user communities, including training the trainers on system functionality;
- Coordinate with subsidiaries, stakeholders, business and IT to develop and execute on testing plans, sprint sessions and overall release management plans and strategy;
- Manage IT deliverables, validating that the requirements are achieved per user expectations.
- Monitor the documentation of SLAs/OLAs between IT and GOR. Proactively assess any risk with respect to systems and/or SLAs and develop remediation plans, in consultation with the Director
- Manages and maintains systems features, reports, libraries and data an ongoing basis, in coordination with others in the department, to meet the changing needs of the Bank
Examples include:
- Manage and maintain system libraries such as organization hierarchies, processes, risk and control libraries, templates, etc.
- Review audit and administrative utilities and reports to monitor usage and ensure system security and integrity of data in the system, and escalate any issues.
- User account maintenance, ongoing maintenance of insystem reports, user training and troubleshooting
- Manage and support user administrative functions to meet the needs of the business lines
- Understands how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in daytoday activities and decisions.
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of daytoday business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.

Job Requirements:
- Undergraduate Degree or higher and minimum 7+ year's relevant functional and/or technical experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office productivity tools e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc. Excel power user preferred
- Knowledge of operational risk programs and in particular loss event reporting and risk and control selfassessment
- Spanish is an asset
