    Description

    Lead Cosmetics department operations

    • Create a culture of solution selling, coaching and development of all employees which embraces a passion for health and wellness.
    • Manage direct reports including: selection, orientation, scheduling, training and development, performance management, and succession planning.
    • Demonstrate outstanding leadership while serving as a role model.
    • Responsible for maintaining store operational standards.
    • Ensure the communication of operations requirements/changes to department employees
    • Delegates appropropriate to achieve department objectives
    • Responsible for employee and customer engagement
    • Be known as the employer of choice by actively leading and supporting a positive environment through effective employee engagement
    • Create a shopping experience that engages customers in a way that enhances loyalty, sales and profit
    • Order, receive, organize merchandise, rotate, and present products in accordance with company standards.
    • Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge including awareness of product changes, promotions and seasonal trends by promoting regular cosmetic events.
    • Execute Operational Standards
    • Thoroughly understand all relevant company programs
    • Attend all internal and external training programs and delive product training to staff as required
    • Keep abreast of local competitor activity, industry trends andmake recommendations on internal pricing and promotions
    • Assist in all store functions as required
    • When required, responsible for management of keys and secure lockup on store.
    • Other administrative duties as required
    • Provide feedback for continuous improvement
    • Support pharmacy administration responsibilities
    • Ensure all applicable company policies and procedures are communicated and adhered to.

    P&L Responsibilities

    • Responsible to ensure efficient operation of the business to achieve all financial targets and deliver on budgeted Key Performance Indicators
    • Manage department budget
