    Summary


    The Formsetter is responsible for the construction of concrete sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and other concrete structures.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Build and lay out forms according to specifications
    • Make calculations depending on grades
    • Fill form with fill material and compact with tamper or compactor to bring to required grade
    • Clean work site of any tools, debris, and equipment
    • Ensure all work is conducted in a safe and responsible manner
    • Work with a variety of hand tools (sledge and carpenter hammers), power tools (hand saws), and equipment (jack hammers).

    Qualifications


    Education, Training and Certifications

    • Valid driver's license (Class 5) with clean driving abstract.
    • Own transportation.

    Work Experience

    • Experienced in curbs, gutters and sidewalks

    Technical Skills

    • Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies
    • Ability to work overtime as required
    • Required to perform tasks that involve heavy lifting, bending and strenuous movements.
    • Must be able to work outdoors in areas that are dusty or dirty
    • Teamwork
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Ability to work extended hours and days with no interruption
