Material Coordinator
Homestar Inc. is seeking experienced
Material Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This is an entry level position with room to grow within our company.
Responsibilities:
- Pick Orders, Building Material and Lumber
- Load and unload materials.
- Drive lift Truck
- Keep the yard clean and the inventory neat and orderly.
- Be familiar with the locations(s) of all inventory and equipment.
- Be familiar with the safe operation and maintenance of equipment such as forklift.
- Restock lumber bins, sheds, etc. when they are depleted.
- Check incoming merchandise against orders or invoices, identify damaged goods, shortages, and backorders.
- Pick up and deliver lumber orders with a tilt load flat bed.
- Work on additional duties and assignments as assigned by management.
- Work in a safe manner in accordance with safety legislation, as well as use of good common sense. Report any potential hazards and unsafe behaviour to management.
Requirements:
- Mechanically inclined.
- Ability to back up a trailer.
- Able to work outside in variable temperatures and weather conditions.
- Able to do physical work.
- Flexible hours
- Class 5 license
- Must have own transportation.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$17.00-$19.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Quispamsis, NB E2G 2B5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- purchasing: 1 year (preferred)
