Toronto Zoo, Scarborough, Ontario
RATE OF PAY:
$18.59 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES
Utilize opportunities to develop skills in the area of wetland conservation and programming. Assist in daily care, radio-tracking and monitoring of Species at Risk turtles
Assist with data entry and communications for the Toronto Zoo's Ontario Turtle Tally, FrogWatch Ontario and Wetland Guardians citizen science monitoring programs
Assist with outreach education and distribution of educational materials to schools and communities; assist with organization and delivery of events at the Toronto Zoo, Rouge Urban National Park and other locations in the GTA
Assist with programming by sister programs Turtle Island Conservation and the Native Bat Conservation Program as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be Indigenous (Status or Non-Status, Métis, or Inuit)
Living in the GTA
At least 16 years old
