We are looking for a Group Insurance Advisor SME to join our team in our Montreal or Quebec office
As a Group Insurance Advisor, you will be responsible for handling and servicing SME client accounts. You will also be responsible of managing various group insurance projects.

Your day as a Group Insurance Advisor:

Consulting Services (80%):

  • Manage mandates and provide advisory services to SME clients.
  • Review renewal and/or marketing presentation materials.
  • Provide technical support for client projects (plan design, implementation, funding, communication, review and administration) to both colleagues and clients.
  • Maintain a close relationship with clients.
  • Develop or participate in the development of effective oral presentations for existing or potential clients, individually or in conjunction with team members.
  • Keep abreast of legislative changes in human resources and employee benefits, CRA tax rules, developments/trends in the group insurance industry and industry best practices.

Business Development (20%):

  • Support for business development efforts.
  • Analyze the situation of potential clients and develop a diagnosis of plan conditions.
  • Assist in the preparation of various business development documents such as proposals, presentations and/or reports.
  • Meet with potential clients to present our group insurance consulting services.
  • 5 years' experience in group insurance.
  • DEC or Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration.
  • AMF Group Insurance Representative Certificate and/or a Pension & Individual Insurance license, an asset.
  • Bilingual, excellent written and spoken French and English communication skills.
  • Good command of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Thoroughness, attention to detail and quality.
  • Effective time management and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with insurers, clients and members of the organization.
