Concierge, Markham

Wincon Security is hiring for a Security Supervisor-Concierge, Markham, ON
These positions are for energetic, friendly, outgoing people, with excellent communication skills.

We are currently hiring for the following shift:

Monday to Friday 7:00am-3:00pm

Job Duties a Security Supervisor-Concierge:

Supervise and lead a team of 6 or more security guards.
Ensuring security duties are carried out in compliance with all federal, provincial, and municipal laws including; The Criminal Code of Canada; Trespass to Property legislation.
Maintain local sitespecific post orders and directives by reviewing and notifying Client and Wincon of required revisions.
Controlling all vehicles and pedestrian traffic entering the property
Greet direct, sign in guest(s) and answer pertinent questions.
Monitor security cameras.
Issue and receipt of keys to trades, building staff and contractors.
Operate security equipment/systems, computers, radios and phones.
Ensure that the Condominium Safety and Emergency Procedures are followed in response to Fire Alarms and other Site Emergencies
Training of new staff
Complete daily site inspections
Maintaining compliance and discipline of site staff
Performance of staff evaluations on a regular basis
Be the first and main point of contact in case of emergencies or any site related issues.

Job Qualifications:

Eligibility to work fulltime, legally in Canada without restrictions (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, Work Permit only)

A Valid Ontario Security Guard License is required

First Aid CPR-C required

Two (2) years of security/concierge supervisory experience in residential properties
Past experience in managing a security team in a condominium setting.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional judgment, common sense and decisionmaking ability
Thorough record keeping, report writing and observation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Must be comfortable walking, standing, patrolling.
Excellent customer service skills: Friendly personality who enjoys interaction with people at a professional level.
