Job Summary:


The Campus Manager is a shared role, which is responsible for all on and off campus activities including evening programs, daily activity logistics and weekend options.

This position also involves overseeing the staff and ensuring that the camp program is delivered accurately and effectively.

The Campus Manager reports directly to the Camp Manager and works in collaboration with the Camp Administrative team including other Coordinators, Teachers and support staff.

This position involves staff supervision.

Responsibilities:


  • Work as an integral member of the Leadership Team.
  • Proactively identifies and solve problems and areas of concern.
  • Complete office and administrative duties carefully, efficiently, and in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain accounts (petty cash, tuck shop, etc.). Provide purchase orders, receipts and detailed records of camps program expenditures.
  • Communicate with Transportation and tour companies to confirm numbers and times regularly
  • Ensure that the appropriate number of tickets are ordered and times are confirmed for all activities.
  • Ensure proper completion and timely submission of all reports.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Camp Manager.
  • Ability to communicate and work with groups and to provide necessary instruction to campers and staff.
  • Respond appropriately to situations requiring first aid. Must be able to assist campers in an emergency (fire, evacuation, illness, or injury) and possess strength and endurance required to maintain constant supervision of campers.

Qualifications:

HOW TO APPLY:


  • Must have Emergency First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Must provide a Vulnerable Sectors Police check to Sol Camps International.
  • Previous supervisory or managerial experience, preferably in a camp setting
  • Experience with children and youth, ESL students an asset
  • Background in ESL and/or related field preferred
  • Have the ability to maintain confidentiality and deal with sensitive issues with tact and discretion
  • Strong programming and leadership skills
  • Must be enthusiastic, energetic, and able to take on responsibility
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient in MS Office experience
