We are looking for a talented Solution Architect - Marketing Excellence - Commercial Sales - VEEVA to be based in Mississauga, Canada. The Solution Architect is responsible for defining and communicating a shared technical and architectural vision across a Solution / Release Train in accordance with the overall Informatics technology strategy and principles to help ensure the system or Solution under development is fit for its intended purpose.

The Opportunity

• You ensure that the system is designed to run as expected, has built-in observability, balances emergent design and takes a system view across the full value stream.
• You will work with product managers, product line leads and the business stakeholders to enable and guide the design and development of an integrated view of the business processes and associated business landscape for the purpose of identifying current and future opportunities for synergy, integration and knowledge sharing. The solution architect will align with the enterprise architects and other solution architects to realize the vision of the domain and promote platform thinking, reusability and interoperability.
• You will lead and control cross-solution architecture design questions with vendors, internal and external partners and design authorities. Therefore experiences with ownership of cross-solution designs and leadership skills to lead a diverse team to get to a common design solution proposal is essential.
• You will work with the ART to ensure delivery and provide the business a window to key innovative technology trends and evolution of technology within the vertical industry, which has the potential to accelerate the fulfillment of the business strategic vision. Through use of dashboards and governance boards, you will provide continuing communication to provide the business an overview of the progress of current IT innovation(s).
• You provide strategic consultation to assigned line-of-business (LOB) customers in defining or designing business processes, functions and organizational structures, as well as using customer requirements in researching, identifying and internally marketing enabling technologies.

Who You Are

• You assess current state of solutions, defines future state needs, identifies gaps and recommends new technology solutions and strategic business execution improvements
• Facilitate stakeholder sessions with personnel across all disciplines in the company to identify and define requirements, assess business processes and evaluate technology solutions
• Conduct solution architecture research, PoCs, PoVs, feasibility assessment and facilitate solution application selections
• Formulate business and logical data and solution architectures comprised of software, network, hardware and integration designs
• Conducts impact assessments and mitigation plans
• Works closely with Enterprise Architects on defining long term architecture vision, integration patterns and review of technical portfolio.
• Creates and owns the Solution Architecture documentation
• Co-create the IT Strategy and Roadmap with Product Manager consistent with the overall strategic needs of the business division.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of professional IT experience. You must have demonstrated an ability to think strategically and translate plans into operational excellence.
• You have deep expertise & business knowledge in the Pharma/Biotech/Dia/information industry and associated processes
• Implementation expertise in major applications such as VEEVA and Reltio product knowledge and real world experience designing, configuring and maintaining life sciences Commercial solutions.
• Expertise in multiple technologies domains (e.g. networks, systems, databases, security, etc.)
• Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies
• Remains "evergreen" and keeps up-to-date with technology trends and emerging technologies
