Position Summary
Team Attendant, Medical Imaging

The Medical Imaging Department Team Attendant is a member of the Medical Imaging Team and is assigned to work with the Physicians, Technologists, RN's and Unit Secretaries to provide support to patients and patient care staff.

The Team Attendant is responsible for contributing to patient flow in the Medical Imaging Department by caring out portering duties, maintaining supplies and equipment, and contributing to various housekeeping tasks.

This position will rotate through other areas within Medical Imaging (CT, MRI).

All roles are essential in providing a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, physicians, volunteers and others by ensuring that health and safety policies are followed.

On a practical level, you will


Qualifications:

High School diploma.

PSW certificate from an accredited college is required.

Portering experience an asset.

Inventory control experience is an asset

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Prior experience in Medical Imaging an asset.

Ability to speak, read and write in English.

Have physical capabilities to perform duties as outlined in physical demands.

Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment.

Ability to establish and maintain patience, compassion and a courteous manner in relationships with patients, families, and co-workers.

Ability to perform in a dynamic fast paced environment.

This is a Full Time Reduced hours position, 0.8 FTE, with 8 hours' shifts, day shifts, evening shifts, night shifts, including weekend shifts in the Medical Imaging department.

We offer a highly competitive total compensation package which includes pay in lieu of benefits, vacation pay and the opportunity to join the Hospital Pension Plan.
