Dr. Zargar Eyecare is looking for a friendly and motivated individual to join our growing team.

We are looking for an Ophthalmic Technician who can assist us in our Dry Eye Spa and someone who can work Closely with the Doctors to provide the required testing and treatments for our dry eye patients.

We offer Lipiscan, Lipiflow, RF for the eyes and also RF for face and IPL in office and would love to have a team member dedicated to work side by side with the Doctors in providing care for our patients.

Experience at an Ophthalmology clinic would be greatly beneficial.

Responsibilities:


  • Perform preliminary patient screenings and assessments
  • Assist Optometrist in various procedures and examinations from dry eye treatments to
myopia management

  • Take patient medical histories and update electronic medical records
  • Administer eye drops and medications as directed by the Optometrist
  • Instruct patients on proper contact lens insertion, removal, and care
  • Conduct diagnostic tests such as visual acuity, tonometry, and retinal imaging, OCT, Visual
Field testing, Topography, Neurolens assessment

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and equipment
  • Provide support to front desk staff as needed

Skills:


  • Strong patient care skills with the ability to provide compassionate and attentive care
  • Knowledge of retail sales principles to assist patients in selecting skin care, dry eye
products, eyewear and accessories in the clinic

  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems for accurate documentation
  • Familiarity with medical office procedures and protocols
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and colleagues
