Qualifications:

Previous Experience: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field, along with a proven track record of at least 3-5 years in venue or hospitality management.

Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to deliver exceptional service.

Customer Focus: A genuine passion for providing outstanding customer experiences and an understanding of event planning and execution.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to build relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.

Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and the capacity to handle high-pressure situations with grace.

Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail to ensure every event is executed flawlessly and in line with client expectations.

Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the local events and hospitality landscape is a plus.

Availability: Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to oversee events as required.


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Toronto, ON M5V 1M5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)

  • Retail management: 1 year (preferred)

Language:


  • French (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)

Shift availability:

  • Day Shift (preferred)
  • Night Shift (preferred)
