Aerospace Technician

Reports to:
Aerospace Production Supervisor


Department:
Manufacturing


Our production team consists of some of the best thin gauge fitter/fabricators in the world, and we are currently seeking skilled and talented individuals to be part of our growing team.

Responsibilities:


  • Form thin gauge metal through rolling, bending, stretching and shrinking to Military Standards
  • Grind and buff thin gauge metals of.025 to.040 thickness.
  • Hand and drill press close tolerance holes in Stainless Steel, Inconel, Titanium, and Aluminum
  • Rivet with different fasteners using rivet gun and bucking bar, hand squeeze guns, and floor squeezers in thin gauge metals
  • Conduct accurate measurements using venires, micrometers, etc.
  • Work with tight tolerances
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment
  • Other related duties

Qualifications:


  • Knowledge of Aerospace blueprints and related terminology
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment, shear, roll, press brake, drills, riveters
  • Sound knowledge of riveting and deriveting
  • Precision Aerospace training or field experience preferred
  • Experience working within an ISO Quality Program preferred
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Controlled Goods Clearance
  • Good communication, both verbal and written (English)
