Aerospace Technician
Reports to:
Aerospace Production Supervisor
Department:
Manufacturing
Our production team consists of some of the best thin gauge fitter/fabricators in the world, and we are currently seeking skilled and talented individuals to be part of our growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Form thin gauge metal through rolling, bending, stretching and shrinking to Military Standards
- Grind and buff thin gauge metals of.025 to.040 thickness.
- Hand and drill press close tolerance holes in Stainless Steel, Inconel, Titanium, and Aluminum
- Rivet with different fasteners using rivet gun and bucking bar, hand squeeze guns, and floor squeezers in thin gauge metals
- Conduct accurate measurements using venires, micrometers, etc.
- Work with tight tolerances
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Other related duties
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Aerospace blueprints and related terminology
- Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment, shear, roll, press brake, drills, riveters
- Sound knowledge of riveting and deriveting
- Precision Aerospace training or field experience preferred
- Experience working within an ISO Quality Program preferred
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Controlled Goods Clearance
- Good communication, both verbal and written (English)
