Aerospace Technician

Reports to:
Aerospace Production Supervisor

Department:
Manufacturing

Our production team consists of some of the best thin gauge fitter/fabricators in the world, and we are currently seeking skilled and talented individuals to be part of our growing team.

Responsibilities:

Form thin gauge metal through rolling, bending, stretching and shrinking to Military Standards
Grind and buff thin gauge metals of.025 to.040 thickness.
Hand and drill press close tolerance holes in Stainless Steel, Inconel, Titanium, and Aluminum
Rivet with different fasteners using rivet gun and bucking bar, hand squeeze guns, and floor squeezers in thin gauge metals
Conduct accurate measurements using venires, micrometers, etc.
Work with tight tolerances
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment
Other related duties

Qualifications:

Knowledge of Aerospace blueprints and related terminology
Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment, shear, roll, press brake, drills, riveters
Sound knowledge of riveting and deriveting
Precision Aerospace training or field experience preferred
Experience working within an ISO Quality Program preferred
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Controlled Goods Clearance
Good communication, both verbal and written (English)
