We are seeking a high energy problem solver who is exceptionally organized.

The
Marketing Coordinator will need to be highly mobile as the nature of this role requires overseeing Canada ICI events across the country, which necessitates
frequent travel.

This
full-time position will report to the Vice President, Origination & Strategic Initiatives. The Marketing Coordinator will be located in
Edmonton and has the flexibility of a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities
Social Media

  • Execute and implement a comprehensive social media strategy, managing all company platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Google My Business.
  • Create engaging content for social media to drive brand awareness and support mortgage brokers with tools to engage their networks and audience.
Communication and Meetings

Event Marketing and Management

  • Lead the marketing and communication support for all industry events conferences and trade shows (i.e events per year), including the coordination of requirements, venues, contacts, schedules, and mailing lists.
  • Produce event materials using design templates or leverage marketing and design partners.
  • Engage in postevent activities such as community engagement, social discussion, and produce event summaries.
Project Management

  • Coordinate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables with internal teams and external vendors to ensure the timely completion of projects and provide instructions for usage and promotion.
  • Maintain the inventory of sales support materials and all other marketing and communication collateral, coordinating the creation of new materials when necessary.
Copywriting and Content Creation

  • Oversee the creation and editing of written content for various marketing channels, including social media posts, blog articles, press releases, website updates and product descriptions to extend Canada ICI's presence in the market.
  • Work closely with the Canada ICI stakeholders to develop engaging and compelling marketing materials and collateral.
Strategy

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate an ongoing, comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with corporate business goals, in collaboration with our marketing agency partners. This will include but is not limited to assembling sales forecasts, setting objectives, and organizing presentations with key stakeholders.
  • Research market trends, customer behavior and the competitor landscape to inform our marketing strategy and understand our target audience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, or communications
  • 35 years of experience in marketing coordination or a similar role
  • Demonstrated proficiency in traditional and digital marketing, content management and development, and social media marketing.
  • Working knowledge of the following platforms and systems:
  • WordPress content management system
  • Customer relationship management (CRM) tools
  • Intranet software: i.e. SharePoint
  • Design platforms: i.e. Canva.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Comfort with facilitating industry events, conferences, trade shows and career fairs.
  • Experience using data analytics software for research.
  • Ability to understand and inform budgeting and forecasting.
  • French Bilingual would be considered an asset.
