As the Revenue & Settlements Manager, you'll oversee a team of Revenue & Settlements Analysts to ensure that customer billing and driver pay can be processed in a timely and efficient manner.

You'll also act as a liaison and between the Revenue & Settlements team and other internal departments such as operations and back office to help identify opportunities for process improvement.


Core Job Functions:


  • Accountable for auditing/updating TMW software to ensure the system accurately represents the details required to bill customers and pay drivers and owner operators on time.
  • Manage department requirements and processes carried out by Revenue & Settlements Analysts, monitoring for accuracy, timeliness and completeness.
  • Ensure all internal deadlines for Analysts are met on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis.
  • Work with the Quality Manager on process improvements to ensure the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of information.
  • Support in the timely resolution of inquiries from drivers received through Payfix, adhering to internal service levels.
  • Primary point of contact for Operations with respect to queries related to work completed by the Analysts.
  • Work with Quality Manager to ensure appropriate controls are in place over the accuracy of work and review/audit work to ensure controls are functioning as defined.
  • Work with the Quality Manager to review the processes to ensure the Back Office is operating in an efficient manner and leveraging system capabilities to their fullest.
  • Responsible for the preparation of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual analyses of results.
  • Oversee and manage team of Analysts, lead and provide support for functions, including hiring, onboarding, performance appraisals and performance management.
  • Key resource in the planning and integration of acquisitions/new customers into the Seaboard Back Office processes.
  • Establish, maintain and enforce corporate accounting and operational policies, procedures and internal controls.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators and produce an assortment of reports on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • 58 years of Billing and Finance experience is required
  • 3 years of experience managing a team is required
  • Degree/Diploma in related field or equivalent level of relevant work experience is required
  • Experience in the transportation industry is preferred
  • ISO certification or knowledge of international standards is considered an asset
  • Proven ability to deal proactively and professionally with internal customers
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced environment
  • Proven ability to manage a team
