The LUSH
Shop Design Team is looking for an experienced
AutoCAD technician for a
three-month contract to help streamline and build an efficient CAD Blocks Library.


The Shop Design Team


The Shop Design Team is responsible for the Architectural and Brand Design of the North American retail store portfolio as it relates to the LUSH global portfolio and growth strategy.


We lead with curiosity, creativity and ethics at the forefront of our work and decision making and strive to produce immersive, experiential spaces for our customers and staff.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role, you will undertake the following core responsibilities:


  • AutoCAD Blocks Library
  • Develop and streamline FF&E CAD blocks library

This includes:

  • Blocks required include both floor plan and elevation views of all FF&E.
  • Create a LUSH Tool Palette for the Master CAD Template

This includes:

  • Block Library Tabs
  • Including all new FF&E blocks. IE. Fixture/Furniture, Power/Comms, Lighting, Plumbing, Backroom, Signage etc.
  • Leaders & Annotations Tabs
  • IE. leader styles, dim styles. furniture/finish tags, architectural callouts etc.
  • Update Master Furniture Drawing file to include the new blocks that will be developed to create consistency across all templates.

Sketchup block library
  • Translate AutoCAD block library into a dynamic blocks SketchUp library complete with appropriate rendered finishes and textures.

QUALIFICATIONS:


Required:


  • Strong technical ability in AutoCAD
  • Proficient in Millwork Drafting
  • Proficient in Sketchup
  • Strong interpersonal attributes with ability to build meaningful relationships with crossfunctional teams
  • Experience setting up a comprehensive set of AutoCAD blocks and standards
  • Outstanding ability to spot opportunities to streamline processes and implement these effectively

Preferred:


  • Diploma or qualification in AutoCAD or Design
  • Experience working in a retail or commercial environment
