Company Background:

Paling Transporter, established in 1992, is a 100% Canadian owned and operated company, located in Hamilton, Ontario.

Paling is a world class manufacturer of industrial self-propelled heavy lift transporters, slag carriersand forklift trucksranging in lift capacities between 40 to 350 tons.

Paling equipment is primarily used in the steel manufacturing industry, but has also been implemented in other industries such as oil and gas, and heavy material handling.

Paling equipment is currently in use at plants in Canada, the USA, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.


Responsibilities include:

• Assist in loading trucks, trailers and other warehouse tasks on arrival
• Verifying products with customer on delivery
• Complete all required paperwork on delivery
• Pick up product at various supplier locations
• Drive and operate company vehicles in a safe manner
• Perform additional duties as assigned or directed by management
• Clean up common areas of warehouse during downtime

Position Requirements:

• Must have a valid "G" licence
• Must have a clean driver's abstract

Previous driving experience required

• Must be able to lift 40lbs and be able to withstand walking, lifting and bending
• Must be able to work alone with little supervision
• Must be friendly, a team player, be reliable, punctual and poses good communication skills

Schedule requirements:

• Day shift Monday, Wednesday and Fridays
• Work hours 7:00am 3:30pm
• Minimum 24 hours per week, hours could vary

Salary:
$19.00-$22.00 per hour
