The Department of Medical Imaging Clerical Manager will work in tandem with the Imaging Managers to ensure that day-to-day operations are aligned with the departmental and organizational Strategic Plan, Mission, Vision and Values.

The Medical Imaging Clerical Manager is responsible for all clerical team members from recruitment, training, performance management, departmental staff scheduling, policy development, and budgeting.


Education:


  • Certification in Medical Radiation Technology (MRT) or sonography (DMS) from a recognized postsecondary institute
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree preferred

Experience:


  • Minimum five (5) years' experience working as an MRT or sonographer (DMS)
  • Previous leadership experience an asset
  • CMRITO membership mandatory

Other:

  • Knowledge of Clinical Standards of Practice for Imaging Professionals
  • Knowledge of HARPA, RHPA, Safety Code 3
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of financial management systems
  • Leadership training
