Kitchen Staff
We are looking for passionate hardworking staff that love to work an a great environment.
Qualifications:
- Must be familiar with safe food handling techniques.
- Good physical condition and able to meet the physical demands of the job.
- Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills.
- Excellent listening skills, and ability to follow instructions
- Excel and working on a team, and independently
- Good attendance, and punctuality required.
- Restaurant/institutional cooking an asset
Education:
- High School Diploma
- Safe Food Handling Certification
- Culinary programs/courses an asset
Experience:
- Food service experience (food preparation, cooking, serving) in an institutional setting preferred.
- Bilingualism (English/French) and customer service experience is an asset.
Certification:
- Safe food handler certification
required. - Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening is r Must be fully vaccinated against Covid19 required.
COVID-19 considerations:
Masking and rapid testing required at St. Joseph's Motherhouse
Job Type:
Part-time
Salary:
$19.15 per hour

Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- NORTH BAY, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- professional/institutional kitchen: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Safe Food Handlers Certificate (required)
- Canadian Residency or Canadian Work Permit (required)
