Kitchen Staff
We are looking for passionate hardworking staff that love to work an a great environment.


Qualifications:


  • Must be familiar with safe food handling techniques.
  • Good physical condition and able to meet the physical demands of the job.
  • Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills.
  • Excellent listening skills, and ability to follow instructions
  • Excel and working on a team, and independently
  • Good attendance, and punctuality required.
  • Restaurant/institutional cooking an asset

Education:


  • High School Diploma
  • Safe Food Handling Certification
  • Culinary programs/courses an asset

Experience:


  • Food service experience (food preparation, cooking, serving) in an institutional setting preferred.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) and customer service experience is an asset.

Certification:


  • Safe food handler certification
    required.
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening is r Must be fully vaccinated against Covid19 required.

COVID-19 considerations:
Masking and rapid testing required at St. Joseph's Motherhouse


Job Type:
Part-time


Salary:
$19.15 per hour

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • NORTH BAY, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- professional/institutional kitchen: 2 years (required)


Licence/Certification:

  • Safe Food Handlers Certificate (required)
  • Canadian Residency or Canadian Work Permit (required)
