Okanagan Civil Constructors is one of South Okanagan's newest and most highly respected civil construction companies. We are currently seeking experienced applicants for a Civil Construction Pipe Foreman with 5+ years experience.


Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide direction to the crews at the beginning of each day and keep the crews updated and on track with the daily work.
• Work with the crew, superintendent, and Project Manager to understand upcoming project requirements.
• Ensure forward planning in the ordering of materials and setting up subcontractors for layout, delivery of supplies, density and pressure testing, proof rolls etc. with the Superintendent and Project Manager.
• Responsible for communicating job progress, information and updates.
• Ensure accurate and daily reporting of timesheets and work orders are provided to head office.
• Be a leader, assist in training and development of crews.
• Complete understanding of typical industrystandard safe working procedures, especially around trenches and heavy equipment.
• Someone who thrives being in a productiondriven environment while staying friendly, professional, and a clear communicator.
• Attention to detail and the desire to provide highquality workmanship, right the first time.
• Understanding of MMCD, Supplementary specifications,Municipal specs, and typical civil testing requirements.
• Problem solver
• 5+ years Experience with pipe laying.
• Knowledge of TOPCON GPS is an asset
• Must be local to the Kelowna or South Okanagan area

$37.00-$47.00 per hour
