- Manage user account lifecycle processes, including user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access modifications based on business needs
- Implement and maintain access controls, authentication mechanisms, and authorization policies in the IAM systems to ensure secure access to applications, systems, and data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather access requirements, define user roles, and develop access policies aligned with business needs and security best practices
- Monitor and respond to access-related requests and incidents, troubleshoot access issues, and provide timely resolution and support to users
- Assist with the setup and administration of periodic access reviews and audits to ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and data privacy requirements.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate IAM systems with existing infrastructure, applications, and directories
- Participate in the design, implementation, and maintenance of IAM workflows, processes, and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Stay up-to-date with emerging IAM technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and assess their potential application and impact within the organization
- Provide user training and support related to IAM systems, processes, and best practices.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of IAM documentation, including standard operating procedures, policies, and guidelines.
- College diploma or bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related Cybersecurity Certification
- Minimum 5 years' experience in cybersecurity and 3-5 years in identity and access management.
- Proficiency in scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python, for automation and customization of IAM processes
- Experience and/or Certifications in administration of SaaS IAM tools and/or Azure Active Directory
- Experience working in an IAM role, administering IAM systems, and managing user access controls
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve access-related issues
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and end-users
- Thorough working knowledge of core identity management concepts, capabilities, and supporting business practices for identity registration, proofing, record matching, lifecycle management, credential assignment, and authentication.
