The cyber security team ensures the business is enabled and supported. We require an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst to join our operations team. Don't meet every requirement?     As an IAM Analyst, you will be responsible for administration, managing and maintaining the identity and access management systems and processes within our organization. Your role will involve provisioning and deprovisioning user accounts, managing access controls, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IAM principles, experience with IAM technologies, and a dedication for ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

    The scope of this role includes Information Security across all ATCO companies and geographies, Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) environments.

    What Else You Get To Do

    • Manage user account lifecycle processes, including user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access modifications based on business needs
    • Implement and maintain access controls, authentication mechanisms, and authorization policies in the IAM systems to ensure secure access to applications, systems, and data.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather access requirements, define user roles, and develop access policies aligned with business needs and security best practices
    • Monitor and respond to access-related requests and incidents, troubleshoot access issues, and provide timely resolution and support to users
    • Assist with the setup and administration of periodic access reviews and audits to ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and data privacy requirements.
    • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate IAM systems with existing infrastructure, applications, and directories
    • Participate in the design, implementation, and maintenance of IAM workflows, processes, and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness
    • Stay up-to-date with emerging IAM technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and assess their potential application and impact within the organization
    • Provide user training and support related to IAM systems, processes, and best practices.
    • Contribute to the development and maintenance of IAM documentation, including standard operating procedures, policies, and guidelines.

    Who You Are:

    • College diploma or bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related Cybersecurity Certification
    • Minimum 5 years' experience in cybersecurity and 3-5 years in identity and access management.
    • Proficiency in scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python, for automation and customization of IAM processes
    • Experience and/or Certifications in administration of SaaS IAM tools and/or Azure Active Directory
    • Experience working in an IAM role, administering IAM systems, and managing user access controls
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve access-related issues
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and end-users
    • Thorough working knowledge of core identity management concepts, capabilities, and supporting business practices for identity registration, proofing, record matching, lifecycle management, credential assignment, and authentication.
