Your Role and Responsibilities

This is a Canada-based full-time position with an expectation to travel to IBM and client locations across Canada, with the potential of occasional international travel.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Application Consultant to play a key role in the delivery of ServiceNow based solutions to meet client requirements.


The ServiceNow Application Consultant will:

  • Provide advisory, business process, and configuration services for ServiceNow platform implementation, configuration, and management.
  • Possess the knowledge and experience in business and technical skills related to specific modules of ServiceNow (including ITSM, ITBM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, App Engine, Application Development, and the NOW Platform
  • Support solution development, advise on business processes, and lead the delivery of ServiceNow implementations which may include the use of: SDLC, Agile and SCRUM, experience in Web Technologies like XML, HTML and Web Services, and knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN and SSL.
  • Lead the team to develop a ServiceNow strategy/value proposition, prepare a costbenefit analysis model, and provide inputs to an ROI analysis.
  • Contribute to Solution Design through effort estimation, costing, staffing, client negotiations, presentations, tailoring solution to budget guidelines, among other priorities.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Understand ITIL and Architecture frameworks/methods.
  • Certified ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) and/or Implementation Specialist
  • Minimum of three years' experience working in a clientfacing consulting or service delivery role within the IT services industry, ideally with a focus on ServiceNow
  • Experience in delivering ServiceNow transformation projects
  • Experience in assisting with the development of ServiceNow managed service solutions and proposals
  • Experience developing ServiceNow solution strategies, governance models and SLA framework
  • Broad business and technology skills, coupled with team building and effective client communication
  • Experience working within bid teams in the production of bid responses and proposals for ServiceNow solutions
  • Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentations skills together with the ability to deliver customer presentations

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • ITIL Certification
  • ServiceNow CTA (Certified Technical Architect)
  • The 'Open Group' (or equivalent) Certified Solution Architect qualification
  • Understanding of common business analysis techniques
  • Experience working alongside business analysts to define a solution
