Job Summary

OVERVIEW

• The Warehouse worker supports the company by providing exceptional customer service, following procedures on inventory controls, ensuring the workplace is maintained so safety of coworkers and efficient shipping and receiving processes meet company policy and regulations.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
• Completes deliveries by driving truck to and from vendors and/or customers.
• Maintains trucks by completing preventive maintenance requirements; addresses any performance issues with the foreman.
• Maintains inventory controls by following all company shipping and receiving procedures; is involved in inventory counts on an as needed basis.
• Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contributes to the team effort by providing positive recommendations and addresses any areas for improvement with the warehouse foreman.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Type / Category
Huron Alloys is a local distributor of Stainless Steel, Aluminum and Nickel Alloy products. We are looking to fill a Full-time warehouse worker position. Hours of operation would be from 8:00am - 4:30pm as well as occasional overtime.


Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

• Teamwork, Coordination, Organization, Planning, Time Management, Reporting Skills, Inventory Control, Documentation Skills, Equipment Maintenance, Data Entry Skills, Dependability
• DZ Drivers licence would be an asset
• Past warehouse experience an asset
• Industry experience an asset
