Your role:


As part of the Project Management Office Manager's team, the selected person will be responsible for acting with leadership, directly coordinating a team and ensuring that key and strategic projects are well managed and delivered within set parameters (budget, timelines, quality, etc.).


We need you for:

  • Ensure that the business objectives of the project are achieved and ensure that the operational teams will integrate the results of the project into their daily activities;
  • Manage projects by covering the 10 areas of expertise required (scope, budget, timelines, quality, communication, HR, procurement, risks, integration and analysis of stakeholders);
  • Plan, organize and lead project coordination meetings;
  • Influencing the various departments of the organization to ensure the success of the project in accordance with the objectives set in the scope;
  • Monitor project performance indicators and report them in the monthly dashboard;
  • Follow the Michelin "stage gate" methodology, anticipate and manage project risks and capture and submit changes to the project plan;
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of best business practices with the PMO manager;
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with internal and external customers.
What do you need to possess for being successful?

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical engineering an asset);
  • You have 5 years of experience in product development, project management and team management in a manufacturing environment;
  • You use French and English (written and spoken) to collaborate with your colleagues internationally;
  • You have knowledge of Project Management Institute (PMI) project management practices;
  • You are PMP certified, an asset (training is offered by our team);
  • You are recognized for your excellent skills in leadership, customer relations, teamwork in interpersonal communication and for managing several projects simultaneously;
  • You are available for occasional travel within our global operations (the USA and Europe up to 10%);
  • You are autonomous, have a good sense of initiative and concern for detail and the quality of work well done.
  • You are good at working in a multicultural environment with virtual teams located around the world.
