Parts Clerk/ Service Writer who will bring their skills and production to the company

Duties & Responsibilities:

Estimates costs, log needed parts and time required for repairs.
Schedule the Service Technicians for client jobs
Convey all necessary information regarding costs, parts, work, and Technicians to customers.
Call the customer to arrange appointments.
Meet with customers to discuss their requirements/services and relay those requirements/services to the Technicians.
Contact customers with any additional work required and explain the details and extra costs.
Enter the details of repair jobs on the company's network and prepare repair instructions/orders.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications:

High school diploma (GED or equivalent)
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Valid Class G driver's license
Must be able to provide criminal background check, drivers abstract and successfully pass a drug and alcohol test.
Proven work experience as a Service Writer or similar role
Computer literacy and knowledge of office software programs
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong recordkeeping skills
The ability to understand and relate technical issues to the service team from customers' nontechnical descriptions.
