Job Summary
Purchaser is responsible for sourcing and purchasing supplies materials services required for greenhouse farm operations.
Responsibilities
- Purchase greenhouse farm operational supplies plants seeds soil pots fertilizers packaging equipment parts etc.
- Source new vendors maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers negotiate pricing terms delivery schedules ensure best value monitor inventory levels forecast purchasing needs production operations teams create manage purchase orders track deliveries resolve discrepancies ensure materials meet quality safety regulatory standards maintain accurate purchasing records documentation collaborate accounting invoices pricing budgets support seasonal planning peak production demands
