Heavy Equipment Technician
Wayver Rentals Inc. - Fort McMurray, AB
Wayver Rentals Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. Third, Fourth year apprentices or AST may be considered. Full time, 7 on 7 off day shift. Competitive wages $58-$62/hour (for HET), fully funded benefits package and RRSP incentive plan. Camp is available. Employees not requiring camp will receive a monthly LOA. Looking for team players that are self-motivated, safety conscience, require mínimal supervision and can interact directly with customer.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Follow procedures and safe work practices.
- Maintain and repair diverse fleet of construction equipment, boats, barges, generators, light towers, compressors, pumps, heaters, skid steers, telehandlers, AWPs, loaders, excavators, P&V trucks, and UTVs.
- Complete and submit required documentation and service reports.
- Maintain and stock service vehicle.
- Operate independently with attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Portray and promote company in a positive and professional manner.
Required Qualifications:
- Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician
- 35 Years Industry Experience
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Valid Safety Tickets
- BSO/OSSA, First Aid and H2S Alive
- Undergo and successfully pass Drug & Alcohol Test
- Ability to operate heavy machinery
