Tall City Telecom Solutions (TCTS) is seeking individuals to work on a key projects in Canada, in particular we are looking for qualified Telecommunication Leadhands as well as Foremen with a minimum of 3 years experience.

Responsibilities:

-
Must be experienced and physically able to climb cell towers while utilizing proper use of personal safety equipment.

  • Work freely and safely on all sized towers including guyed mast, self support, and monopole towers incorporating and demonstrating proper fall protection practices and procedures.
  • Ability to take direction and follow instructions to successfully complete assigned tasks in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
  • Punctual, reliable, accountable.
  • Team/safety focused.
  • Able to understand tower erection principles, read blueprints and understand drawings. Knowledgeable in tower foundation, installation, erection, antenna transmission line systems and fiber installs.
  • Ability to understand assembling the installation of various types of antenna, mounting solutions, running all transmission lines up the tower, installing connectors on transmission lines along with hoisting grips, hangers and ground kits, adjusting antennas on tower with the correct azimuth and tilts, and performing microwave and antenna alignments.
  • Install various ancillary items on a communication tower including: waveguide bridge for transmission lines, ice guards on tower to protect dishes, anticlimbs and fall arrest systems, lighting systems and grounding systems.
  • Able to identify problems and find reasonable solutions.
  • Perform all general ground procedures associated with installation.
  • Ensure that all company equipment is well maintained and in safe operating condition as well as conduct inventory inspections and sort received materials on site.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean abstract
