We're looking for motivated, engaged people to help make everyone's journeys better.Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for end to end sourcing and procurement of a variety of food items and commodities in order to drive culinary consistency from Supplier partners
- Builds and maintains strong working relationships with internal customers and key suppliers with a focus on cost analysis/savings and develop a deep understanding of assigned spend and the related spend across the corporation
- Leads Central Sourcing Process for assigned account groups
- Responsible for communication and ownership of new materials/PIR process
- Provides initial forecast to Suppliers for new items
- Creates and maps all new products requiring setup
- Maintains and updates supplier contact database for Procurement and internal customers
- Works with clients to resolve supplier related business issues
- Represents Supply Chain on Commercial kickoff calls and establishes realistic milestones
- Confers with suppliers and analyzes their quotes to understand the factors that affect pricing and to determine lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability and ability to meet required startups.
- Ensures KES timelines are met
- Responsible for monthly menu reviews with the Account Services Group and Operations to monitor menus and meal cycle changes to ensure accurate sourcing prior to menu release to the units
- Drives Generic raw material reductions through effective and consistent sourcing practices
- Collaborates with Buyers and Operations to ensure only specified items are presented and samples are received in a timely fashion
- Assists in the development of project proposals, implementation plans, communication packages, performance measurement tools, and training related to assigned projects
- Participates in weekly performance meetings to review metrics
- Identifies cost saving opportunities associated with the procurement, inventory, and delivery of products
- Creates and maintains key performance metrics (KPI's) to measure Operational issues and project performance against timelines.
