Job Description
I am building a modern Islamic learning app and am looking for thoughtful writers to produce high-quality educational articles on an ongoing basis.
Each article should be:
Informative
Engaging
Structured
Factually sound
Relevant to modern readers
Clear and easy to follow
This is not SEO blogging.
This is not khutbah-style preaching.
This is not textbook writing.
It is thoughtful, well-structured educational content for a modern audience.
The Five Core Pillars
All articles fall under one of these categories:
Qur'an & Hadith
Reflections, thematic explorations, contextual understanding, and practical application of Qur'anic verses and authentic Hadith.
Islamic History & Civilization
Historical events, major figures, empires, civilizational achievements, and lessons drawn from the Muslim past.
Faith & Personal Development
Spiritual growth, character (akhlaq), discipline, purpose, resilience, sincerity, and internal development.
Contemporary Muslim Life
Modern issues Muslims face today e.g Ramadan in modern society, Muslim athletes balancing faith and performance, identity, ethics in the workplace, social trends, etc.
Knowledge, Science & IdeasIslamic scholarship, intellectual history, philosophy, science, and the relationship between faith and reason.

Writing Expectations
Each article will be approximately 600–800 words and should:
Avoid fluff and repetition
Avoid generic AI-style phrasing
Feel human and natural
Be engaging without being sensational
Be thoughtful
A clear writing guideline/SOP will be shared with shortlisted candidates.
Relevance & Creativity
Articles should feel timely when appropriate.
For example:
Ramadan reflections
Muslim footballers fasting whilst playing in the toughest football league
I value writers who can identify meaningful angles and propose strong topics.
Application Task
Instead of writing a full article, please:
Choose any three different pillars and submit:
2 strong article titles per pillar
2–3 sentences explaining why it would be engaging and relevant right now
This helps me evaluate your thinking and creativity.
Scope
Initial paid trial article
Ongoing work for strong writers
Flexible volume depending on quality and availability
Please include your rate per 700-word article.
Contract duration of less than 1 month. with 30 hours per week.
