Andy's Tire is seeking a seasonal Tire Technician. The technician is responsible for ensuring that services are performed safely, efficiently and at a high standard of quality.
Key Accountabilities
Perform tire removal, installation, and repair services safely for all passenger and light truck vehicles.
This includes removing wheel assemblies, dismounting tires, balancing, inflating, and installing repaired, or, replacement tires, and reinstalling wheel assemblies according to standard operating procedures.
Conduct diagnostics, evaluate reparability of damage, choose and complete proper repair methods.To provide a high level of customer service in line with our company goals.
Follow work orders procedures and communicate with front counter staff the work done and the work required.
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and professionalism to represent a positive company image.
Requirements:
Previous experience working in automotive as a tire tech, trades, or light-industrial environment.
Well-presented, professional team player who takes initiative to get the job done.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong aptitude for learning.
Demonstrated personal commitment to health and safety.
Job Types:
Part-time, Fixed term contract
Salary:
$18.00 per hour
Expected hours:
per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
