About the Opportunity:


The IM/IT Systems Analyst (SA) / Business Analyst (BA), reports to an IM/IT Manager and will take direction from either the IM/IT Lead or Sr.

Analyst. This position is responsible for evaluation, implementation, maintenance, and support of IT Contracts, including licensing, hardware, and software.

The IM/IT SA/BA works with their team to collaborate with key clinical and business stakeholders throughout the province in partnership with the province's Internal Services Department and the Department of Health and Wellness, to assist in procurement of IT contracts and support the process.


About You:

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Degree or diploma in an Information Technology, Business Analysis or business or finance. Consideration may be given to those with equivalent training and relevant experience.
  • Experience and/or training with contract management, vendor management, and procurement an asset.
  • Training with negotiation an asset
  • Experience in a healthcare or clinical setting an asset.
  • Certification in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Project Management (PMP), and/or organizational change management an asset.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and document issues, problems and implement resolution
  • Strong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience creating summary documentation based on evaluation and analysis an asset
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to document and solve issues
  • Organizational skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to clearly communicate NSH vision, mission and values

Compensation and Incentives:

$ $40.02 Hourly
