Take your career to new heights and reach for the skies as a telecom infrastructure technician and tower rigger with Dr.

Sat

Duties include installation and maintenance of various antennas and wireless broadband sites along with resolution of technical issues for various telecommunications systems across the golden horseshoe including Halton, Hamilton and Niagara regions in addition to the GTA.

• Contracting company preferably with a registered GST/HST number
• Van or pick up truck with ladder rack
• Ladder of 27 ft. or longer in length
• Valid Ontario class G drivers license
• Experience climbing towers, building rooftops and working at heights with harness
• Experience erecting either bracketed or self supported towers
• Basic set of hand tools including socket set, wrenches, hammer drill and drill bits
• Approved basic installation materials such as screws and connectors
• Must be bondable
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Must work well with little supervision but also thrive in a team environment
• Must be able to work flexible hours during the week or weekends as needed
• Must be willing and able to continually learn new technologies/computer platforms

Job Responsibilities mainly include the installation and servicing of wireless broadband and various telecommunications systems.

Compensation is piece work but also includes mileage on longer trips and occasional performance bonuses.
