Description
New Flyer is North America's heavy-duty transit bus leader and offers the most advanced product line under the Xcelsior and Xcelsior CHARGE brands.
To carry out the duties of a Truck and Coach technician as directed by the Service Centre Manager.Must be able to work unsupervised in the repair and maintenance of Heavy duty Transit Buses.
Must be proficient in the use of all required mechanical, air and hydraulic tools.
Must understand the requirement for safe working practices within a busy mechanical shop and the use of personal safety equipment.
A good understanding on the use of computers for diagnostics is beneficial.Forklift operation.
Welding and machining would be an advantage.
Certified Truck & Coach Technician.
Knowledge of Computers and Windows.
Basic computer skills.
Ozone depletion Certified is an asset.
Climbing ladders and working on bus roofs.
Forklift
