Proposal Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:


Opportunity Identification

  • Search bid sites (MERX, bids&tenders, Biddingo, etc.) on an ongoing basis for relevant opportunities and RFPs
  • Coordinate completion of a Go/No-Go assessment to determine the viability of the proposal opportunity

Proposal Development

  • Analyze client requirements and Request for Proposal (RFP) documents to understand project scope and objectives

Content Creation

  • Responsible for compiling and editing the general proposal content to match the client requirements such as executive summary company information, project management approach, project experience, project team and CVs, etc.
  • Collaborate with the technical teams to create clear, concise, and persuasive technical content that highlights our engineering solutions, methodologies and value proposition

Project Management

  • Manage proposal timelines and escalates when internal deadlines slip, ensuring that all deadlines are met and highquality proposals are submitted on time

Quality Assurance

  • Review and edit proposal content for accuracy, consistency, clarity and conformity with Tatham standards and requirements of the RFP

Proposal Resources

  • Keep accurate records on proposals in progress, completed, wins, losses, etc.
  • Build and maintain a proposal content library (corporate information, project summaries, staff summaries, CVs, etc.), keeping material up to date and relevant

Key Position Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in proposal development or similar environment
  • Previous experience working in Engineering Consulting or Professional Services firms is preferred
  • Ability to work in a team environment, working towards common goals and objectives
  • Excellent communication skills as well as strong English language and writing skills including attention to detail and ability to proofread and edit material, as well as an aptitude for understanding technical terminology
  • Self motivated with great multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize and show initiative
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office Programs (Word, PPT, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • An interest in graphic design would be an asset
  • Able to travel when required
  • Flexibility to work overtime to meet proposal deadlines as required
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn while having fun in a fastpaced environment
