This position has an end date of 12 months from the date of hire.


Location - This role is hybrid with a mix of remote and in-person with on-site work taking place at North Campus, Edmonton.

Working as a Research Coordinator

Duties

  • Organizing communications and regular meetings for multiple projects.
  • Coordinating data management and analysis for projects. Completing some data analysis, when needed.
  • Preparing interim and final reports for funding agencies, including final budget reports.
  • Assisting with manuscripts (e.g., proofing, reference formatting and submission software management).
  • Supervising, training and supporting the ongoing development of junior research team members (e.g., research assistants, summer students, graduate students in GRA positions).
  • Other related coordinator duties, as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree.
  • Evidence of research experience and training required.
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with standard software, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite products
  • Highly motivated and selfdirected, with excellent communication (written and verbal) and problemsolving skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail with a strong ability to prioritize tasks given multiple projects.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in a healthrelated discipline is desirable
  • Experience with research administration
  • Working knowledge of University of Alberta policies and procedures
