The Role:

VersaFile is hiring a part-time Bookkeeper to work 20 hours per week on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll. This is a remote work from home position but you should be located in Canada.

As the Bookkeeper, you would be working with our Staff Accountant and Director of Business Operations within Quickbooks Online, to generate invoices, update the cash reports in Excel, and do other on-going bookkeeping tasks.

Since you will be working with financial data, you would need to be well-organized, have close attention to detail, and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Invoice Generation
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Cash Reporting (Bank reconciliations & spreadsheet updates)
AR Aging Reports
Payroll
Other special projects as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in accounting or related field
2 years of bookkeeping experience
2 years of Canadian Payroll experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and QuickBooks Online
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Detail oriented
Strong written and verbal communication skills
