Efes Turkish Cuisine is looking for a seasoned and reliable cook specializing in preparing Turkish dishes for its busy restaurant in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
The duties of this position are as follows: prepare and cook complete Turkish meals and dishes; assist in scheduling and supervising kitchen help; oversee kitchen operations; maintain inventory and records of food and supplies; clean kitchen and work area; assist in planning menus, determining size of food portions, estimating food requirements; and assist in hiring and training kitchen staff.
Salary:
$20-22/hour
Terms of employment:
Permanent, full-time (40 hours/week)
Minimum educational/training requirements:
high school diploma required; vocational certification or diploma preferred.
Location: 5986 Spring Garden Road, Halifax, NS B3H 1Y7
Salary:
$20.00-$22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
