ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Manager, Business Performance, the Project Manager - Planning and Execution, will lead business enhancements and partner with specialty nursing services managers to improve operations, streamline processes and ensure appropriate and standardized practices are in place.

This role will be the leading project manager supporting the nursing leadership team on selected projects such as Lean and Six Sigma and customer centric healthcare services as well as an execution support for operations managers and cross functional team to helps them effectively manage their responsibilities.


A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Lead and engage cross functionally to ensure the nursing team collects all stakeholder feedback to complete assigned projects on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Outline the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
  • Conduct cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
  • Prepare and implements a budget based on estimates.
  • Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate)
  • Work with teams responsible for managing operations and developing productivity solutions in a fastpaced, challenging, and dynamic environment

  • Work with internal partners to develop a pipeline of new projects
  • Lead all aspects of the diagnostic, design, implementation and change management stages by working within cross functional teams
Job Qualification


WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Professional degree or bachelor's degree in business, industrial engineering, data analytics, information technology or related discipline
  • 3+ years of relevant experience, including cost reduction/productivity improvement expertise
  • Bilingual English/French is required
  • Certified in Lean Six Sigma and/or PMP is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, problem solving and project management skills
  • Work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
  • Highly proficient in analytical and presentation tools (Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint)
  • Experience in healthcare field is an asset
  • Solid project management experience in leading multistakeholder complex initiatives, proven track record of meeting deliverables on time and within budget
  • Knowledge and experience working with Health Canada guidelines for Good Pharmacovigilance Practices, Good Documentation Practices, Good Manufacturing Practices, Quality Systems, Quality Auditing and ISO requirements, is preferred.
  • Strong experience working with data, systems, and KPI dashboards
