Reporting to Director of Real Estate and Property Management.

The Vendor and Contract Management Specialist will be responsible for managing vendor relationships and contracts to ensure that they meet the company's requirements.

This individual will work closely with vendors, internal stakeholders, and legal to ensure that contracts are negotiated, executed, and managed effectively.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducting vendor assessments and developing supplier strategies to support business objectives.
  • Negotiating and drafting contracts with vendors, including but not limited to, master services agreements, statements of work, and nondisclosure agreements.
  • Managing vendor relationships and ensuring that vendors are meeting their contractual obligations.
  • Developing and implementing vendor performance metrics and tracking vendor performance against those metrics
  • Collaborating with legal to ensure that contracts comply with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders on vendor and contractrelated matters
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of vendor contracts and relationships

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in vendor and contract management
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of contract law and procurement best practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software
  • Must be qualified to work in Canada legally for the employer.
  • Able to provide a Vulnerable Sector Screening check with a 'Clear' or satisfactory result that meets the operational requirements of the Agency.
  • Must have uptodate vaccinations on COVID19 with a vaccine that has been approved for use in Canada.
