    It's a utility locate. The different colours define underground utilities such as gas lines, waterlines and more. It's a critical job that keeps people and communities safe.
    No experience is required. We provide training to ensure that you can get the job done.
    Full G license and a clean driver's abstract (Required)

    GTel is one of the fastest growing utility service companies in Ontario. We're looking for individuals to join our growing team as a Damage Prevention Technician (Utility Locator).

    Damage Prevention Technicians locate underground utilities i.e., high-voltage electrical cables, water lines, sewer lines, steam lines, gas lines, telephone lines, and more, for a prescribed geography.

    Using company provided equipment, the Damage Prevention Technician will locate, mark (with spray paint and flags) and record underground utilities.

    Full training is provided.
    Employing a health and safety mindset with customers and communities
    Consulting with contractors, developers, builders, regarding locations of underground utilities
    Preparing reports and documentation verifying marked utilities
    Proficient use of a computer
    Have a valid 'G' class Driver's License and clean three (3) year Driver's Abstract as this position includes a company vehicle for business purposes only
    The ability to work weekends, on call and overtime as required
