    Job Description

    As a member of our Culinary Team, you will bring our offerings to life by providing the magic and expertise needed in the kitchen.

    Nestled in the heart of Stanley Park, surrounded by beautiful scenery, sporting activities, and steps away from some of the best beaches and trails in Canada, we strive to create an unforgettable experience for our guests.

    Responsibilities

    • Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness and ensure a steady supply for kitchen staff.
    • Organize and store clean dishes, utensils, and cookware in the appropriate areas to maintain an orderly kitchen.
    • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the dishwashing area, ensuring it meets health and safety standards at all times.
    • Remove trash, recyclables, and waste materials from the kitchen and dining areas as needed, ensuring proper disposal procedures are followed.
    • Work in a fast-paced environment, keeping up with the volume of dishes during peak service hours.
    • Support kitchen staff by quickly and efficiently cleaning and sanitizing kitchen tools and equipment as they are used.
    • Assist with other cleaning duties around the kitchen, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces, as required.
    • Assist with other prep duties around the kitchen, including portioning, making bottles, etc.

    Requirements

    • Hold a valid work permit for the duration of your employment, if applicable.
    • Commit to a flexible schedule.
    • Prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen or other relevant customer service role is considered an asset.
    • Valid First Aid certification or food safe certification would be beneficial.

    Additional Information

    This is a seasonal opportunity ending October 14th 2025. Hours and shifts may vary and include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. We strictly adhere to any work permit hour restrictions.
